6 weeks old and going strong. Running around like crazy in the house and outside. They learned to use the ramp that leads to the puppy yard. We had a puppy play date with some puppy buyers and they wore them out. Fun was had by all and we only a have a short time with them before they go onto their new adventures.

I'm back and I want to say sorry for the lack of videos and photos. Big 4 day dog show last week which the Ej Samoyeds dogs from TX, IN, MO and IL did extremely well. As usual we aren't out to make anymore friends when we are in the ring :-)...
So things the little ones have done since our last post. They don't have the whelping box anymore, They have been outside on our porch so far, Running around the house is their favorite pastime, Litterbox training is going great which means pine shavings are here to stay and they never stay in the box. LOL.. Tonight I will be doing updated photos of them for the 6 week mark :-( Hard to believe they are growing that fast and changing every day. Ears are up or most up on everyone but white girl. This litter is just wonderful and the girls are great and happy. Going to be hard to let these 4 go as they have probably been just the easiest crew I've had in awhile. Thankfully my husband has been here to help while I went and played dog show and came home with the flu or some kind of crud that I'm slowly coming back from.
Some Video from today of course. Yes we have grown up and are trying new things all the time.
Individual photos of them at 5 weeks old that my husband and daughter took while I was gone.

These photos are from 4 1/2 to 6 weeks of age.
Random shots but they are just so cute! The hair is changing and now the tails are starting to go up over their backs.
The grass is always greener on the other side.. LOL
Even the monkey has had enough! LOL
Some video of the things they've done over the past couple of days.
Couldn't resist not sharing in the sounds of let me out of here at all hours of the night.
This weekend they will get a new setup that I'm sure they'll love more freedom and more things to do.
So my daughter had a Ice day and was home from school. Here are some updated photos of the 4 little bundles. Eating well and are lil chunkers. We are just having so much fun with these girls. Personalities are starting to come out. So far we have 3 very rambunctious girls and 1 girl that is a lil bit more reserved for now. She'll play with the other puppies but she doesn't go over to the other puppies and start it. Needless to say we have escapees from the whelping box. I hear them at night so I'll go over and put them back in. Last night was 3x and I'm a bit tired today. I put in a water container to see how they do with it. More photos and video on that to come once I get some. They are eating well and really starting to bark, growl and play. It's so cute and funny to watch our 6 mth old puppy just want to play with them too.

Sorry I'm late getting things up this week. I'll post video for now and then photos later tonight. Can't believe they are already 3 weeks old. Things that they we've done this week. We've started them on some food and they LOVED it. Long over due is what they were thinking LOL. We removed the pig rail so that it gives them more room to more around. Lots of toys and they get to stumble around on the outside of the box with us as well. Lots of new surfaces for them to try. Personalities are coming out and they are cute and so funny.
This video is when they just started to play and giving it a half hearted attempt. That changes pretty quickly over a few days.
This one was taken this a.m before eating and as you can tell they can really play compared to earlier in the week.
First meal of Turkey, yogurt and rice all organic and GMO Free
After eating they settle in for a nice drink of milk. Which is getting very crowded.
Just a couple of new photos for the day. Nothing to exciting but cute as always.
Something that we do with all of our litters. This helps to stimulate them neurologically and better prepare them for the future outside of our home. Does it work? I'm hoping so but if not it doesn't harm them when we do this so Why Not?

2 week marker and they have accomplished some things. We have eyes opening and everyone is either fully opened or partially open. White girl is taking the longest to open her eyes. With four sisters I don't blame her :-P LOL So here are the updated photos and another video of them motoring around. Now the fun is starting and Rumor is of course being an awesome mom. Ears are just now starting to open up just slightly so they have a while to go before they can hear everything. Eyes are opening but to actually see well takes a while too. You can also see the coat changing as they get older. Enjoy...

Here is a different surface for them to be on. Exciting for me not so much for them. They walked around and then all crashed out again.
I just had to get a video of them motoring around the whelping box. Notice that Rumor is now shedding off some of her hair. When we have puppy pick up you'll see a completely different looking dog. She won't have very much hair on her and it sometimes shocks people at just how much coat they do loose.
These girls are just to cute not to update. So the milk bar is in full swing and sometimes it's hard to move around and other times it's easier to digest when you have someone or something to have yourself over.
Sleep and Repeat!
Couldn't help not getting this on video. Here is a cute shot of the little ones. They sleep most of the time and every now and then get a little active. Mainly it's to find the food bar which they have had way to much of. Stools have been messy when they over eat.
Look who's growing up now. Here are the 1 week old additions. They are motoring around really well when they are awake. Eating and getting fat and sassy! Gotta love the girls :-) Pigment is coming in great.

Puppies dreaming while they sleep..
They arrived during the late hours Friday Feb. 6th 2015 We have 4 girls and so far everyone is doing great. Orange Girl has lost a little weight so we are going to give her some extra attention to get her gaining. Here are a few photos and I promise I'll be contacting everyone soon on who will be getting a puppy.
We have a week to go before they arrive. Today I took a video with my phone so it was laying down. Nothing to watch but you can hear them really well now. They were very active kicking and moving around. So you can hear heartbeats off and own as they did little drive byes. LOL ENJOY..
After today my next update will be of the new additions and mom.
Tony who is the sire to our last litter with Lexi and is the sire to this litter playing with a litter of puppies. These puppies are not his and he's never seen them before but he absolutely loved them. All of my dogs and the dogs I breed to have amazing temperaments. Photo was taken by Megan Elfrink
Update today is that I haven't been able to get a better heartbeat sound yet. I'm working on it but they are still small enough that moving around is still an option so they are hard to find and then stay still long enough :-). On a fun note had some people over yesterday for a Samoyed fix. They dogs were great and they got o see how our dogs are and our 4 mth old puppy. Banner is very smart and is milking the treat system. He goes out and potties and then runs back in for a treat. Then he'll go outside again and do a poo and run back in for another treat. He's gotten so good at this that he now will go out and push for a little dribble to get a treat. So as of today we are changing up the system. His food motivation is over the top just like all of our dogs. It's funny to watch just how smart they are and how quick they are to learn. Lots of information on the web talks about them being stubborn and I don't find that to be true. They are smart and get bored easily while other breeds need repetition to learn.
We are 6 weeks along and Feb 6th is right around the corner. It's so exciting and I can't wait to see what these two give us as I love both the sire and dam so much.
Puppies have been confirmed today!!! We will be having a litter due on Feb 6th. Can't wait for them all to arrive safe and healthy. Let the puppy planning begin. Awesome way to ring in the New Year for us with little Ej Babies.. The faster heartbeat is a puppy. Rumor's heartbeat was trying to get in on the excitement. Doing a happy dance here and can't wait!
Today We are going to check for puppies. I'll keep you all updated and will post a video of the heartbeats. Keep fingers and paws crossed that we have little ones coming in February!

Looking forward and very excited to see what this litter brings us. If you are looking for a show/working or just a pet these puppies won't disappoint.
